The Wedding Omen

Yesterday at St. Francis Winery they were setting up for a wedding that was to take place later in the early evening.  I couldn't help but notice the vultures circling overhead.

Hopefully they will not make an appearance during the ceremony.

Best wishes to the newlyweds.

  4. I am so happy you are following Buddy’s journey. I tell you...he is one happy guy though this afternoon he was a bit concerned about the water supply. When I got that photo back of him today, I knew he was exactly where he needed to be at this point in his life. Doubt I will hear from him tomorrow, but hope he will find a spot where he can get service. Now yo your photos today. That last one would have made a wonderful wedding gift for the happy couple. The while chairs so nicely lined up in their row and columns only to be dwarfed by those peaks in the background. I really do like the shot so much. Those vultures circling overhead is a bit spooky, but birds will be birds. Take care and have a restful Sunday. This one is next to my last before returning to school in a week. UGH!!!!! Genie

  6. Beautiful setting for the wedding...
I remember back to the black and white days of weddings, in a room, with tile floors, and old curtains. This photo is a fresh breath of air even with the vultures.

  7. What a glorious venue for a setting.
Poor old vultures get a bad press, they're only occupying their natural place in life (namely tidying up the end of it) which we don't want to see.

  8. Ha, I hope the wedding party was not superstitious. Or maybe they think turkey vultures are good luck!
Other than the vultures, it's a beautiful place for a wedding.
