Black-crowned Night Heron

This heron was in with everyone else from the posts of the last two days.
I couldn't ignore him.

  3. It must not be as large as the others, but definitly just as beautiful! Ahh, how I miss the early (very early) morning smell of the eucalyptis trees in southern Ca.!!

    Going into one of the local florist shops here in Tn., and breathing in the eucalyptis smells just isn't the same. Not only that, I get some pretty weird looks from the store owners, but its fun to mess with them once in a while! ;D
