Monday Mural

This mural sets on the side of a vacant country store. The store, setting all by itself out in the dairy land and vineyards of Sonoma County went out of business several years ago. No one has expressed any interest in the For Lease sign out front. It is surprising the mural has not been graffitied during this time. Hopefully it will be rescued and saved by someone, someday for it is pretty unique.

  1. Sad to hear the store is still vacant. Glad to hear the mural is still looking good. I like the colors and just the fun of it. Thanks for sharing!

  2. Hahaha, I have the same thing captured when I took a drive out there. It's actually in queue for the coming Monday Mural, but I guess I would not share it anymore, funny how we both captured the same thing.

  4. So this is what goats do in their free time. As soon as I saw your mural, I looked for an ace hidden under the table. They have a reputation you know. Thanks for participating in this week's Monday Mural, John.

  6. yes very well painted and like you say it's very refreshing to see that it hasn't had a touch of graffiti added.

  8. That's such a fun mural! And in amazing good condition! You'd think it would add to the appeal of the leasehold.

  12. Wonderful! I guess they can get away with playing cards all days since no one is minding the store.

  13. Yeah, it does remind me of the C.D. Coolidge oil painting, "Dogs playing poker", but I like this version much better!
