Can You Imagine?

Yesterday I sat on the sidelines to watch a mountain bike race at my next door State Park Annadel.  Can you imagine riding a tandem bicycle over 26 miles of rough up and down mountainous terrain?

I have a hard enough time just getting myself over...half that distance.

  2. I have never cycled on a tandem, it looks so strange to me, not to be able to drive yourself, but to have a back in front of you.

  3. I always make the joke "I get tired just driving 26 miles!" Well that's not really true, but no way could I bike that. Nope.

  4. I couldn't do it on such a rough terrain. I rather do it on my spinning bike :-) But this must be a tough race, and I'm sure you had fun watching!

  5. i'd think that would be quite taxing for the person in front - and quite nerve-wracking for the person in back. :)

  6. Half way though and I would be on the ground and the person in front would wonder why the bike was easier to maneuver.
