No Hike For Me

On this video and you'll see why my hike yesterday didn't get very far.

I went back to the road and up another trail which was like this for quite a ways until I had to give up on it too.  I still had a good time.

The people crossing were a group of runners that had come in from another trail of the park.

  2. Wow, that is a lot of water, some places have too much and others too little. I am glad you turned on, it can become dangerous in the mountains I suppose.

  3. It looks pretty, but I know how rushing water can slow you down.

  6. And there's me thinking you would have just cast a rope over a tree branch and swung across!

  7. I don't know which park this was but it doesn't much matter. All of the streams in Northern California were raging. Unfortunately, most of the precipitation will run right out to the ocean since little fell as snow, our prime reservoir.

  9. There is a great deal of sanity in dry feet (and insanity in running)
