The test of an adventure is that when you are in the middle of it, you say to yourself, "Oh, now I've got myself into an awful mess; I wish I were sitting quietly at home." And the sign that something is wrong with you is when you sit quietly at home wishing you were out having lots of adventure. -Thornton Wilder

The nice thing about being confused is you get a chance to notice things a lot better than if you knew where you were going.

Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.

  1. good subject for black and white ... something I keep forgetting to work with

  2. Do I see a train coming? Had to laugh about your comment at the slanting houses here. I have some more for you in coming posts!

  3. Oh, I love this...I walked a railroad to school all through grade school and high school...well, in high school I walked it to the place I caught the bus...about 2/3's of a mile.

  4. Hey John, I've been MIA for awhile. Went back through some of you pics and enjoyed them.

Hope you, the Mrs and Sinbad are well.

  5. Good thing there were no trains coming down the track. I like the perspective you got.

  6. I like this one - the low angle makes the rr tracks look so different!!
