The test of an adventure is that when you are in the middle of it, you say to yourself, "Oh, now I've got myself into an awful mess; I wish I were sitting quietly at home." And the sign that something is wrong with you is when you sit quietly at home wishing you were out having lots of adventure. -Thornton Wilder

The nice thing about being confused is you get a chance to notice things a lot better than if you knew where you were going.

Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.

The Yarn Shop

When you take your wife to a yarn shop, you make the most of it.
Always have your camera with you wherever you go.

  1. hope you got a new jumper or vest out of it John. I love the look of the yarns in the first image; the wonderful blues and burnt oranges especially

  2. I love those shops, I have knitted a lot in my haydays. Lots of jumpers with very complicated patterns. These are very nice colours, did your wife buy some?

  4. I don't knit or crochet, but sure have fun seeing all the yarns, etc. They make me wish I did one or the other, but I sure don't need any other hobbies.
