The test of an adventure is that when you are in the middle of it, you say to yourself, "Oh, now I've got myself into an awful mess; I wish I were sitting quietly at home." And the sign that something is wrong with you is when you sit quietly at home wishing you were out having lots of adventure. -Thornton Wilder

The nice thing about being confused is you get a chance to notice things a lot better than if you knew where you were going.

Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.

The other day I discovered an old wooden house in town, tucked away in a back lot that sold nothing but used paperback books.  Yesterday I explored.
The place went for on and on inside. This is just one alcove.

I am set for life!

  1. This looks like heaven to me too!

  2. you may never travel again... :)

  3. Oh my goodness. I would never leave.

There is a bookstore about a half hour from where I live that looks like this, only large and more disheveled. I will have to go take some pics of it for you.

  4. I would love to get lost in there.

  5. Cool idea...old house...used book store!

  6. I would get lost in a place as this. I love reading and books. all so lined up and colorful.

  7. Put me in a bookstore and you don't hear me anymore. That's why I loved to work in the public library so much. I had it all for myself at closing times.

  8. It looks all orderly and clean too, which makes it even nicer!
