The test of an adventure is that when you are in the middle of it, you say to yourself, "Oh, now I've got myself into an awful mess; I wish I were sitting quietly at home." And the sign that something is wrong with you is when you sit quietly at home wishing you were out having lots of adventure. -Thornton Wilder

The nice thing about being confused is you get a chance to notice things a lot better than if you knew where you were going.

Rain to Come

We are suppose to have some showers the next few days
and maybe this will produce a new crop of mushrooms

and freshen up the ferns a bit.

Used my camera for these, not the iPhone which I've been talking up lately.
Consider all photos on this blog done with my Nikon unless otherwise noted.

  1. very nice images, each one John. Great results

  2. ooo I really love the last one

  3. Those are great, EVEN though you used a Nikon and not a Canon (LOL). Looks like we're going to have a good year for wildflowers too. This little bit of rain is going to make 'em happy.
