The test of an adventure is that when you are in the middle of it, you say to yourself, "Oh, now I've got myself into an awful mess; I wish I were sitting quietly at home." And the sign that something is wrong with you is when you sit quietly at home wishing you were out having lots of adventure. -Thornton Wilder

The nice thing about being confused is you get a chance to notice things a lot better than if you knew where you were going.

Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.

Hot & Cold and Woody Too

Okemah, Oklahoma

where they have hot and cold water towers and was also the home of Woody Guthrie.

But it looks like they are running short on paint.

  1. Those water towers are so special American to me. They look funny all together.

  2. They look like modern sculptures.

  3. I agree with you but they show it with dignity.

  4. John you are so funny. Love the pic.

  5. Interesting set of water towers. They've now become an obsolete technology

  6. ...makes for an interesting photo though John

  7. I like the two on the left.

  8. Love these! Got to keep looking up, I'm always having to remind myself of that.
