The test of an adventure is that when you are in the middle of it, you say to yourself, "Oh, now I've got myself into an awful mess; I wish I were sitting quietly at home." And the sign that something is wrong with you is when you sit quietly at home wishing you were out having lots of adventure. -Thornton Wilder

The nice thing about being confused is you get a chance to notice things a lot better than if you knew where you were going.

Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.

Monday Mural

Vega, Texas

This mural was on the side of a little Mexican food restaurant.  The foreground almost seamlessly blends into the mural and had it not been for the windows it would have looked almost perfect.

  1. Great mural and very cunning. Before you know it you bump your head against the wall if you don't look out.

  2. HMM we were in Vega TX in November but I don't remember this.

  3. A well composed painting on the wall, it's very inviting.

  4. I especially like the trompe l'oeil features on this mural. The take-out window looks like it's in the scene. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
