The test of an adventure is that when you are in the middle of it, you say to yourself, "Oh, now I've got myself into an awful mess; I wish I were sitting quietly at home." And the sign that something is wrong with you is when you sit quietly at home wishing you were out having lots of adventure. -Thornton Wilder

The nice thing about being confused is you get a chance to notice things a lot better than if you knew where you were going.

Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.

Spider

This guy was in the bathroom last night, up near the ceiling.  Once I got my camera, macro lens attached, chair moved in from the dining room for me to stand on and in position, he decides to start moving.
I got 6 shots and he then drops to the floor and is gone.

  1. Yeak, I don't like spiders, I know it is silly, but they scare me by their sudden runs or hanging in the room on a wire....Brave of you to come so close to this one!

  3. Pity we don't have a scale of it. Could be anything between 3 mm and 3 cm. (Last is a scaring thought)

  7. Shame on you invading Mr. Spider’s space...hahaha. He gives me the creepy crawlies. No, Bud runs the road in front of the house and all the little side roads, too. He does the track thing to get me out of the house and down there. The road out here is almost turtle backed and because of my back condition it is not safe for me to walk there anymore. He’s a good sport.
