The test of an adventure is that when you are in the middle of it, you say to yourself, "Oh, now I've got myself into an awful mess; I wish I were sitting quietly at home." And the sign that something is wrong with you is when you sit quietly at home wishing you were out having lots of adventure. -Thornton Wilder

The nice thing about being confused is you get a chance to notice things a lot better than if you knew where you were going.

Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.

The Violin

My latest piece.  The idea to do a violin came to me in a dream one night.

Happy Valentines Day

  1. It looks like a very well executed drawing. I wishes you also a happy Valentine but must admit that these festivities doesn't live in the netherlands but are hold in high esteem by the commercialism of the last years.
    Keep drawing.

  2. A beautiful drawing, I like the composition. Valentine is not my cup of tea, it came from abroad and was pushed here to celebrate. Only the younger "internet" generation has embraced it.

  3. Very nicely drawn illustration of such a beautiful instrument. Valentines' Day didn't see me inundated with cards, though I did receive a cheque for £25 - winnings on some Premium Bonds - which was even more welcome.
