The test of an adventure is that when you are in the middle of it, you say to yourself, "Oh, now I've got myself into an awful mess; I wish I were sitting quietly at home." And the sign that something is wrong with you is when you sit quietly at home wishing you were out having lots of adventure. -Thornton Wilder

The nice thing about being confused is you get a chance to notice things a lot better than if you knew where you were going.

Nick's Bar

As usual when I find these things it is because I made a wrong turn or missed it entirely and wind up on some back road trying to get back to where I was heading to.  And so was the case here in North Platte, Nebraska.  With the visit to the Donna Reed Center still fresh on my mind, you can imagine my surprise to see this.  You will have to have seen the movie It's a Wonderful Life to understand the significance of the photo.  At any rate note the high class awning over the doorway.

  1. I am sorry, don't know the movie but I am sure someone has.

  2. Thats a nice back way alley entrance. As bieb mentioned I also don't know that movie.

  3. OH YES, definitely high class! :))

  4. thanks for the reminder on the significance. :)

  5. I know the movie and love that you found this!
