The test of an adventure is that when you are in the middle of it, you say to yourself, "Oh, now I've got myself into an awful mess; I wish I were sitting quietly at home." And the sign that something is wrong with you is when you sit quietly at home wishing you were out having lots of adventure. -Thornton Wilder

The nice thing about being confused is you get a chance to notice things a lot better than if you knew where you were going.

Interstate 10, Texas

This large group of motorcyclists passed me as if I was standing still on the highway.
Notice the rider to the far left.
They all had to be going over 70 mph (113kph) at least.

  1. Yes there are always some daredevils in such groups. Still worse when coming from a motorcycle race in the neighbor.

  2. You are young and reckless and in a group, than have to show your tricks. Yeh, hope their tour went well.

  3. always a daredevil feeling his oats. :)

  4. This is a very hazardous behavior not only for themselves but those around them. I'm sure you were alarmed when they roared by you.
