The test of an adventure is that when you are in the middle of it, you say to yourself, "Oh, now I've got myself into an awful mess; I wish I were sitting quietly at home." And the sign that something is wrong with you is when you sit quietly at home wishing you were out having lots of adventure. -Thornton Wilder

The nice thing about being confused is you get a chance to notice things a lot better than if you knew where you were going.

Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.

A Little Rain Brings Out the Best of Critters

I stuck together a series of pictures but it didn't come out too well,
but it could have been worse.

The thing is though, he was moving so slow
I don't think anyone would have the patience to watch that long of a video.

In case you were wondering, he was about 5 inches long (13cm) and bigger around than your finger.

  1. WOW! You sure do grow them BIG out there!

  2. We had little bitty ones all over the patio yesterday because of all the rain washing them out of the flower beds. That is a big one!

  3. I think it came out fine! And no, I would not have sat through the long version.

  4. It has totally different colors as the dark braun here in the Netherlands.

  5. Ours are really big here as well. Nice one!

  6. SC alreaday said so, the colour is different as ours. We also have many with their home on their back crawling through the garden.

  7. that's pretty big for a slug. nice video.

  8. Nice spots, he could go faster by hitching a ride on a passing fire truck.
