The test of an adventure is that when you are in the middle of it, you say to yourself, "Oh, now I've got myself into an awful mess; I wish I were sitting quietly at home." And the sign that something is wrong with you is when you sit quietly at home wishing you were out having lots of adventure. -Thornton Wilder

The nice thing about being confused is you get a chance to notice things a lot better than if you knew where you were going.

Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.

Morning Walks

Each day I would go for a walk in a different direction, like the spokes of a wheel.

I have a lot of cactus photos,

and rocks too.

  1. Those cactus are great, have never seen these myself in reality.

  2. love these! hope you share a lot more!

  3. A lovely place for a walk. I like seeing these views, it's just being back at my grandfather's place.

  4. What a great find you came across. Such a beautiful study in symmetry. That rock is remarkable, too. So many interesting things to find in the desert. Thanks so much for sharing.

  5. There is a lot of beauty in this minimalist environment.

  6. These are all equally beautiful.

  7. I really like both of them John.
