The test of an adventure is that when you are in the middle of it, you say to yourself, "Oh, now I've got myself into an awful mess; I wish I were sitting quietly at home." And the sign that something is wrong with you is when you sit quietly at home wishing you were out having lots of adventure. -Thornton Wilder

The nice thing about being confused is you get a chance to notice things a lot better than if you knew where you were going.

Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.

Lone Pine Film History Museum

When we got back into town - Lone Pine - I took the time to walk through their film museum.

The museum centers on the films and programs shot in the nearby Alabama Hills.

I think the admission was $5 and well worth it for they had a ton-load of stuff to look at.

  1. I also like the design of the museum. A kind of adobe and art deco architecture in one. Bringing together two golden era's of the movies.

  7. That old movie theater marquee is really appropriate for a film museum. Nice catch on this one!
