The test of an adventure is that when you are in the middle of it, you say to yourself, "Oh, now I've got myself into an awful mess; I wish I were sitting quietly at home." And the sign that something is wrong with you is when you sit quietly at home wishing you were out having lots of adventure. -Thornton Wilder

The nice thing about being confused is you get a chance to notice things a lot better than if you knew where you were going.

Not Cactus Flowers

There are other plants blooming in the desert besides cactus.

This little guy likes to eat the plants.

This one too!

  1. Ah sweet Sinbad still enjoying garden life, licking his mouth. Our cat is on the hunt for bumblebees and mice at the moment.

  2. Sinbad looks to be in good health. Isn't it amazing what can grow in the desert?

  3. Got a chance to take a look at your cactus flowers as well as these. I have never seen so many varieties. I've thought about you and Sinbad several times lately and wondered how he is doing. Good to see that he still has the strength to get out and see some of the sights with you.

  4. If i combine the last to photo's in my brain then Sinbad just had a tasty caterpillar snack.

  5. hi, sinbad! :)

    love those trumpet-like flowers!

  6. I've got one of those squigglies on my rose bush this morning. Sinbad is looking quite happy, licking his lips. Lovely blooms!

  7. There must have been lots of rain in the desert this year to produce all the flowers.

  8. Sinbad looks great. Love your other shots too.
