The test of an adventure is that when you are in the middle of it, you say to yourself, "Oh, now I've got myself into an awful mess; I wish I were sitting quietly at home." And the sign that something is wrong with you is when you sit quietly at home wishing you were out having lots of adventure. -Thornton Wilder

The nice thing about being confused is you get a chance to notice things a lot better than if you knew where you were going.

Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.

Be Very Still

This guy was kind enough to sit still and pose for me.

That doesn't happen very often with lizards.

Maybe he was just as interested in me as I was with him.

  1. As you said he is very calm and seeing the camera...

  2. Quite an interesting fellow!

  3. Great shots of this little critter.

  4. Maybe he/she thinks you are a
    lizard whisperer."

  5. Yikes, he's a big one! Maybe you lulled him into a trance..sometimes the little lizards I see around here do that...just freeze, kind of like the squirrels so. Probably thinking if I sit still that big human will not see me. :)

  6. Lucky you to be there at the right place, right time!
