The test of an adventure is that when you are in the middle of it, you say to yourself, "Oh, now I've got myself into an awful mess; I wish I were sitting quietly at home." And the sign that something is wrong with you is when you sit quietly at home wishing you were out having lots of adventure. -Thornton Wilder

The nice thing about being confused is you get a chance to notice things a lot better than if you knew where you were going.

Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.

Trail Courtesy

Horses reign King on the trails.  This lowly peasant has to walk through their poop.

  1. You have to be humble to the King, always, and bow too.

  2. You and me both as it is the same in th eUK

  3. So horses are the top of the pecking order!

  4. Seems right

  5. I didn't realise there was any etiquette involved, it just seems sensible to me to give way to big things that can kick!

  6. Nice trail sign. We don't have many horses on our mountain trails so no worries here.

  7. Yep, there are horses on some of the trails I walk too. And I agree with John (By Stargoose and Hanglands) that it makes good sense.
