The test of an adventure is that when you are in the middle of it, you say to yourself, "Oh, now I've got myself into an awful mess; I wish I were sitting quietly at home." And the sign that something is wrong with you is when you sit quietly at home wishing you were out having lots of adventure. -Thornton Wilder

The nice thing about being confused is you get a chance to notice things a lot better than if you knew where you were going.

Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.

Not a Desert Flower

Just a Rhododendron in my yard.

Meanwhile, Sinbad sleeps.

Still waiting for the correct parts to arrive before we can leave.

  1. The justified sleep of the old. So peaceful waiting till he can travel again. Nice one John.

  2. Very patient waiting, he doesn't matter it seems.

  3. Beautiful flower! And beautiful quilt too.

  4. Sinbad is so beautiful. It seems a trip is about to happen. I look forward to your photos, as usual. Especially those of little Sinbad, the traveling kitty. Have a beautiful day John. Kiss little guy for me. :)

  5. Sinbad seem content to wait. Hope the parts snafu sorts itself out soon.

  6. Nice flower. I take it that you are not being as patient and relaxed as your feline friend.
