The test of an adventure is that when you are in the middle of it, you say to yourself, "Oh, now I've got myself into an awful mess; I wish I were sitting quietly at home." And the sign that something is wrong with you is when you sit quietly at home wishing you were out having lots of adventure. -Thornton Wilder

The nice thing about being confused is you get a chance to notice things a lot better than if you knew where you were going.

Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.

Mushroom Monastery

It all started out to just draw a mushroom.
Things sort of got out of hand after that.

  1. made me laugh. too cute, though!

  2. I like that, so cute to go up the stairs.

  3. Really cool, you just need little people climbing the stairs

  4. John, This is by far my favorite of all your stipples. It is whimsical so of course I love it. I wonder what is hidden behind the door at the top of the mushroom stem. You are getting better and better. I need to come up with an idea for an all stippled picture. I am thinking :-) genie

  5. Pretty interesting, unlike anything I'd think you would attempt. What will you do with all your drawings?
