The test of an adventure is that when you are in the middle of it, you say to yourself, "Oh, now I've got myself into an awful mess; I wish I were sitting quietly at home." And the sign that something is wrong with you is when you sit quietly at home wishing you were out having lots of adventure. -Thornton Wilder

The nice thing about being confused is you get a chance to notice things a lot better than if you knew where you were going.

Murder in the Forest

The crime scene.
There were no body parts to be found.  Only scattered remnants of the victim's clothing.

The murder took place in a dense forest.  Who could have done such a heinous crime? A fox?
A bobcat?  No, I think the most likely suspect is a hawk for they have been seen in the area.

Case closed.

  1. A murder: but a quick, efficient and very necessary one. Therefore much less of a crime than some committed by so called more enlightened beings.

  2. Always sad to see, but animals are not better than humans. At least they take the corpse away.

  6. I guess it all goes back to "the survival of the fittest." Still it is sad.
