The test of an adventure is that when you are in the middle of it, you say to yourself, "Oh, now I've got myself into an awful mess; I wish I were sitting quietly at home." And the sign that something is wrong with you is when you sit quietly at home wishing you were out having lots of adventure. -Thornton Wilder

The nice thing about being confused is you get a chance to notice things a lot better than if you knew where you were going.

Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.

Day 33

Dragons in the desert.
This is just one of over 100 metal sculptures by artist Ricardo Breceda that are on display near the small town of Borrego Springs.

You can see more of his art by clicking here.  Very nice photography too.

  1. I read the link and must say great art in real fitting surroundings. A very talented sculptor. Thanks for showing.

  2. Amazing sight. The dragon looks like a sea monster the way he is undulating across the sands.

  3. That is one awesome sculpture of a sand worm

  4. That is a good place for such a huge piece of art, looks like he is rising out of the sand from deep down under.
