Rest and Recovery

After the blown tire fiasco and buying yet another new tire I wanted nothing more except some rest.  We spent the day, no the entire weekend, at a couple city parks in the town of Gillette, Wyoming.

There were several of these bronze sculptures around the lake at this park.
I only got pictures of the one immediately in front of us.  I didn't have my camera with me when I walked the loop and didn't have the ambition to walk it a second time with camera.

On the second day at another park there were cute little bunnies to watch for entertainment.

Feeling much better it was time to move on to the next adventure awaiting us.

  1. Nice sculpture in the park, and watching bunnies can be very entertaining. There are some near where I live. They have such huge ears!

  3. I too love seeing the bunnies and the statues. Tiny little cotton tails I'm not use to seeing. In Colorado I have seen them everywhere. In my area it's the huge jack rabbits that look the size of large dogs. Nice place to rest up.
