Outside Grand Tetons National Park

This was our home site for a few days several miles east outside of the park boundary,
a good place to rest and recuperate from Yellowstone.
These views are looking further east away from the Tetons.
Can you spot the Little House on the Highway?
(you may have to click on the photo to see it)

Looking back towards the park and part of it's main feature.
I cannot see the other big Teton mountain to the left from our spot.

I've thought all this smoke was from the wildfires in Canada but just recently learned western Montana is ablaze and this is where the smoke is coming from.
If not for the smoke these would be stunning views.

Saw this little guy crossing the road.  His head is to the left,
at least that was the direction he was moving.

We are moving on most likely staying in Woming exploring parts of the state I've never been in before.  We leave our home site short one mouse thanks to be Beans.

  1. What stunning views. I would love to travel through that country. I think the smoke in the air makes the mountains look wonderfully mysterious.
If you are heading to Wyoming, you have to go to the Indian Medecine Wheel. Spectacular area.
