Desert Still Life

There is a lot of rubbish left behind from long ago by prospectors in their mining camps.
Someone picked the most interesting pieces and posed them for others to enjoy,
although I can't imagine all that many people being way out where I was.

The bluish green rock is copper ore pretty much the main mineral to be had here.

  1. I don't think today's plastic waste will ever take on such a pleasing appearance.

  2. It looks almost like an exhibition in a museum.

  3. I like these random arrangements of the rusting equipment left behind by the prospectors, it's the sort of thing I would do if I was wandering in the desert. It looks a lot less like garbage when arranged nicely!

  4. It's very artistic. The blue green rock is pretty, polished up it would make a nice necklace.

  5. Ah yes, but I kind of enjoy seeing rubbish like that out on the desert! My first trips to the desert began when I was about 8 and we would visit my grandfather every summer, in Arizona and those visits are still my favorite summer memories.
