Tee-Pee Cafe

Bowie, Arizona

This roadside diner dating back to the 1930's sits on old Highway 70 which is now bypassed with Interstate 10.  It was all in the architecture when trying to get the tourist to stop at your place of business back in those days.  I am sure it worked too.

  1. I can just imagine the bricklayer scratching his head when he first glimpsed the plans for this building!

  2. I like it, so very American, recreating a teepee with bricks for the sake of tourism. But sad to see it falling into disrepair. It should be saved.
