Between Knox and Munday, Texas
After an exhausting day in search of propane our weary travelers took sanctuary at
Believers Chapel of Knox Prairie
Across the roads what remains of a farm house.
What time and the incessant prairie wind can do.
This is the back of the house.
As I was wearing flip flops and didn't do any exploring.
Some buildings in the back.
Again, lacking proper footwear this is as far as I ventured.
A big lizard pays Beans a visit.
Yep, she wanted out real bad to have a go at him.
That's got to be architecturally the most unusual chapel I've ever seen, but should prove more wind-proof than the wooden house.
ReplyDeleteSad the house collapsed.
ReplyDeleteVery un-chapel-like architecture. I wonder what it looks like from the inside. And a very handsome lizard. Just look at the length of those claws.
ReplyDeleteA sad house. I wonder why the story is.
