Yesterday was the Third Annual Handcar Regatta in Santa Rosa. I didn't know about the first two. People create people-powered modes of transportation for competition on the abandoned railroad tracks of Santa Rosa's old railroad station. Many who attended dressed up in period attire. Think of the Victorian-era, Jules Verne, Sherlock Holmes and you get the idea. I was most taken by the imaginative eyeglasses and goggles that were created. It got me to thinking for next year.

Hey, These are really cool. I'm glad you stopped by my blog so I could come and see yours. I also really enjoyed the sculpture made from bicycle parts. I'll be back.
And thank you too for the visit. I've been visiting your blog for awhile which is motivating me to take my blog down a different path since Sinbad and I haven't been hitting the road as much lately. Your sunset pictures reminded me of similar sunsets I've enjoyed while on the road. They seem not as spectacular when at home in your house.
