Fargo, North Dakota

My main purpose for passing through Fargo was to see the wood chipper from the movie Fargo.
You can click here to see the wood chipper post.
But outside the Fargo Visitor Center was this.

I cannot imagine what was on the artist's mind while painting this or rather,
what the artist was on while painting this.

Well it certainly is eye-catching, but unattractive at the same time. What a shame, such a lot of work would have gone into it. It's all in the name of 'art' but I don't gel with a lot of it. All that came to mind was the saying "like waving a red rag at a bull". What is the little creature that the bull is looking at?

Oh boy! Sorry but the colours is a wee bit over the bend. To just having it mounted like that.

He did the structure great but he belittled it with all that Wow aful Bright colour's.

To each there own I say. Your camera most likely went into shock.

If it had wheeles on it. It would been a Great Parade Float . Kids would love it.

I guess I'm the lone voice that says, "I like it." Is it odd? Sure. Kind of primitive? Yep. But the cheeriness makes me smile and the dazzling colors made me look even longer. Oddly, I find the color actually ends up emphasizing the animal's shape. Is it made of metal or some other medium?
