You might find this person interesting: Richard Epstein. He has some interesting thoughts on income inequality (at least I think he does). You can google him and find many other clips and articles.

I think you could draw the same graph - more or less for Australia and the UK.

Somewhere along the line we have got it wrong.

I don't know what's gone in people lately. Here the top bankers and top managers are all snatching money for themselves. I am raised in a socialistic idealistic family, wanting everybody had equal chances.
But I am horrified how things are changing at the moment.
