Very nice picture! I really love it!Greetings from the Netherlands, DzjieDzjee
exactly. It's a wonder it's still standing and amazingly, no graffiti. Oh, happy days! Remember there would be one somewhere in the neighbourhood. How are we today without a mobile?
They sure are becoming rare!
You are sure it is not a special project from the inhabitant of the house left who was so tired of somebody hanging hours on the phone that he banned it to the street.
You're right they are disappearing very fast.
very much so!
And this one doesn't look like it has been used for a long time. The whole place looks abandoned Nice curtains but a broken window!
I haven't seen one of those around my area for years. Once in awhile I spy just a phone hanging on the wall.Felicia
Ah, yes, the old phone booth is an endangered species. On a recent trip I lost my cell phone and tried to find a booth. Lotsa luck! I saw one at a gas station, but the phone was disconnected. Had to go in and beg the clerk to let me use the store phone...Lesson: hang onto cell at all times!
This one looks like it's in great shape. Nice find.
I'm not sure if my kids would even know how to use a payphone.
