Monster Mushroom

This is the biggest mushroom I have ever come across in the park.
I only had my iPhone to use as a size comparison.

Nearby was it's slightly smaller brother but still large enough to feed a family of four.

'feed a family of four' - did you take it home with you? Can you tell which ones are the edible ones? I never would want to chance it; kind of Russian Roulette happening, no joy in that

These are certainly huge, to shelter under when it rains maybe.

It's a beauty John and do you know if it's edible?.

We have "snap, crackle and pop!" over here to. The Kellogg factory in Manchester is just a few hundred yards from where I work.

Take care.

Darn big!. So if they're edible they will make a good feed. There's nothing like the flavor of wild mushrooms.
