Why?

Sometimes I take pictures and later wonder why I did.  This is one of those.
I guess at the time I felt I should.

Seligman, Arizona

No I didn't eat there and I have had my last buffalo burger anyway.  There is nothing special about them except their high price.  And why would an ok saloon be famous?  Now if it were an awesome saloon I could understand it.

Does it have to be road kill before they can serve it?

how unique a name for a place to stop for something to eat; road kill? Who'd have thought ....

But a nice sign it is. Last time I heard soup 'n salad in a place like this I thought that I was hearing super salad and I said no thank you. As innocent dutch tourist I had never before heard soup or salad especially quick spoken in the local lingo.

It must be true, I read it in an advertisement.

Most of the "famous", "world famous", "world's best" anythings I've seen advertised aren't even worth the time to investigate much less to eat

Read the sign, stop to take a picture, and then get the heck out of Dodge. :-)

Roadkill is an interesting name. I think I'll pass, thank you.

That's a good one. It's always fun to read those funny signs as you travel the backroads of our country! I saw some good ones when I was recently in Arizona. Looks like you've been busy with travels! I've been ill but I'm feeling better so I think I'll be able to resume blogging again. It's nice to be back!

It must have been the 66 sign. That is magical, I can understand you wanted te registrate that!

ha, ha. Cute commentary. I think I'd avoid a cafe called Roadkill. Maybe I'd be ok with the ok saloon.

signs are funny and you just sometimes have to take a pic of them.

I think I would have skipped it too.
