Clinton, Oklahoma
When Elvis traveled to Las Vegas he felt the Trade Winds Inn was the best place to stay along the way. He liked it so much he stayed here 4 times. He had his favorite room too...Room 215. To this day the room decor is kept in the same 60's style as when Elvis checked in, even to the avocado green pile carpeting. The plaque on the door to room 215 keeps getting stolen so they quit replacing it. But you can still request room 215 at the Trade Winds Inn the next time you roll through Clinton, Oklahoma. Just imagine you too can sit on the same throne as did the King.
We are moving on through Oklahoma City today hoping for some dry weather as the King here in the Little House on the Highway Inn wants to get out for a walk sometime soon.

good luck, sinbad.
Pity about the weather but you can always sleep trough it.
I believe this may be the most adorable photo yet of little guy. He's an angel. What a great traveling companion he must be - I'd feel like I had my best friend with me. Thanks for the Sinbad shot, it MADE MY DAY.
happy trails to you both. Be safe. (I see little guy isn't wearing his seat belt - oh no!)
So I start to wonder about all the Elvis stories. How many are actually true and how many are fictional. However , the make very interesting stories as yours indicates.
Love the photo of Sinbad.
...hope you have some clearing weather coming your way
