What Children Remember

Calhoun Falls, South Carolina

A child will not remember their best day of watching television.
Take your kid fishing.

This bronze sculpture was setting outside of town all by itself near a junction of two roads.
Well done.

The quote above I saw on a billboard in Arizona a couple years ago.

Wonderful John... all my childhood memories are of playing outside and making up our own games.

Brought back many memories of me and my pals walking to the lake to fish. We would dig worms the night before! We were so lucky in those days to have such freedom. This was about 65 years ago, of course.

you are so right!!
and same goes for adults, in a way; your greatest memories will come from what you did in your spare time, not what you did every day at work...
