Happy Birthday America!

From the Garden of Eden, Lucas Kansas
I present to you a concrete flag with 48 stars,
still with it's original paint from around the 1920's or 30's.

It is suppose to be hotter than a firecracker today.
I have yet to do this amazing site in Kansas for the blog but will soon.

Great statue still in good shape despite its age.And you congratulated to live in a country where despite all the stuff that come to light lately still makes it possible to live the life that you want.

Happy Birthday indeed! That concrete flag has certainly done well, the colour doesn't look too jaded after flying in the sunshine so long

I arrived on the boat today to find that the table clothes are on the tables in the mess - I suspect they're rustling up a small 4th of July celebration there too.

Interesting looking sculpture - that's some paint if it's looking that good from the better part of a century in the open air.

Don't leave us hanging too long about this sculpture garden. Nice shot for the 4th. The fog is supposed to return tonight and cool things off. Hope it's true. Happy 4th to you.
