Marquette, Kansas
The small town of Marquette did indeed have all the elements depicted in the mural going for it, plus a small motorcycle museum too, which was my reason for going there. Now if only the Public Works department could fix up those sidewalks...
Do notice that the mural is in the shape of Kansas.

I wouldn't have noticed the frame was in the shape of the state had you not clued us in. Sweet and bright mural.
I especially like the wheat and sunflowers tying the different parts together.

This is made like a postcard, very nice and the shape I didn't notice. I don't know the the shape of Texas, but now do.
Thanks for the great Kansas highlights! Looks like we should take a few deters to shake up our usual drive to and from our kid's houses.
