Lucas, Kansas
Garden of Eden
Samuel P. Dinsmore Home

This room led out to that large second story porch which I did not get in the photo with the beer bottles and knots in the pillar posts.  Standing on that porch would present a grand view of most all of Dinsmore's Garden at the back of the house, which I will show some of next.

Two bedrooms, this being the master

and across the hall the second bedroom.

One bath room.

I know I keep going on about these floors.

But it looks beautiful. Thank you for showing so much of this incredible house and its creator.

It is such a lovely house. It is great it is preserved to give us a look in a past living. Better than one room in a museum. You have a look of the complete house now.

In a modern house that would be wasted attic space. Again, this reminds me of my Grandparents house, except their bathroom was at the bottom of the stairs.

i love all the wood furniture. i wouldn't want all those antiques, but in this place, they belong. :)

What an amazing place. It's like stepping back in time. The house is so well preserved. I had fun taking the tour through this and your last several posts.

It's all in amazing shape. It looks like they may have put something on the floors to preserve them a little.
