Seen in the local Walmart yesterday, September 29.
Really, they shouldn't be allowed to push this stuff until after Thanksgiving for here in the U.S.
With 3 months exposure to Christmas junk, by the time the day actually does come around I've grown so tired of it that the day itself is welcomed only for the fact that it marks the end of the madness.
Okay, just had to get that out of me.
Yes, we are back home from the desert and more pleasant posts will appear from now on.

Here in the Netherlands you see all christmas stuff in some shops,
is not it a bit early?
For me though!!!
Greetings, RW & SK
I agree with you . A lot of commercial thinking is not good for mankind.
Yes it is crazy to see this so early but I wonder if anybody is in the mood to buy this stuff now.
I thought there would be pictures of crazy looking Wal Mart people!!
i'm with you.

I totally agree with you, looking forward to seeing the pics of your adventure! ;-)
Hi John... Don't get me going on this subject... grrr Lets give thanks, and the turkey his due before the give me-give me starts!

Keep on ranting about this topic. Marketing has no idea of overkill.
I enjoy your photos and trips. I never miss any of them.
Keep Christmas in December that's my take on it all John.
The shops are the same over here... it's madness.
I think they should at least wait until after Halloween. November 1st seems reasonable, giving folks 7 weeks to plan and shop, and as a matter of fact I'm sure they used to wait that long years ago. Actually I've become anti-Christmas in general, the only thing I like about it is the lighted houses when I'm driving around at night. Only time of the year I dread, all that obligation mixed with disappointment. (shudder)
At least everyone here is calling it Christmas! I go nuts hearing it called "holiday" for 3 months.
Amen!
