The vineyards of the Sonoma Valley are beginning to turn. I went on a scouting mission while tea and chat was going on just to see how they are coming along. These are from the Kunde Vineyards right across from us which seem to have the most color going so far. It is interesting as different varieties of grapes in different vineyards had barely begun to change. In fact one vineyard that had Syrah vines, the grapes were still on and had yet to be harvested.

When I lived in Vallejo, the winters were nice and sunny and perfect.
Vineyards in California are a sight to behold. I was just in Mendocino over the summer. WOW. Beautiful.
you live in a wonderful area...
Wonderful images John you have such a variety of countryside on your doorstep.
You might notice from the order of my comments that I'm going through your recent blog backwards.
My last comment answered, not tea, wine. Also very civilised.
