I never did find any wild turkeys for today's post so I present to you Turkey Tail Fungi
and Turkey Vultures.
The real turkeys will now come out from hiding.

It is sad that those birds have such ugly heads. A mistake of nature or a punishment?
Well they all have some turkeyness in them. Thats for sure. Happy Thanksgiving.

At first I thought, "What do you mean he can't find the bourbon?" Then I realized you meant actual wild turkeys. Oops. Believe it or not, we've had wild turkeys wander into our backyard. The birds. This was totally unexpected since we're in a decidedly urban neighborhood.
