This guy was in the bathroom last night, up near the ceiling. Once I got my camera, macro lens attached, chair moved in from the dining room for me to stand on and in position, he decides to start moving.
I got 6 shots and he then drops to the floor and is gone.

Yeak, I don't like spiders, I know it is silly, but they scare me by their sudden runs or hanging in the room on a wire....Brave of you to come so close to this one!
hope you found him and got him outdoors where he belonged. Good snap John.
Pity we don't have a scale of it. Could be anything between 3 mm and 3 cm. (Last is a scaring thought)
I hardly ever see spiders in Sao Paulo, but they are everywhere here in London! ;-)
pretty orange legs. i keep flyswatters handy for the scorpions.
My daughter would have caught him and took him outside...well, with it getting as cold as it is now, not sure.
Shame on you invading Mr. Spider’s space...hahaha. He gives me the creepy crawlies. No, Bud runs the road in front of the house and all the little side roads, too. He does the track thing to get me out of the house and down there. The road out here is almost turtle backed and because of my back condition it is not safe for me to walk there anymore. He’s a good sport.
Looks like the ones that have been invading my house lately.
I'm forever wondering how spiders get into bathrooms...or anywhere inside the house!
Was he big! Nice picture.

I would have killed it.
