Wheels

Dix, Nebraska

Last week TexWisGirl showed a wagon wheel fence on her Good Fences meme.
That reminded me of one I had to show off.

I guess when you live in farm country, there is no shortage of fence building materials.
Old tractor or irrigation wheels work fine.

Best part about this find, it was one of the very few places that when I passed it up it was easy to pull over, turn the Little House on the Highway around and go back to get the pictures.

That looks very fine for a fence. I like all the wheels have a second life.

Great fence! I guess you use what you have . . . explains all those stone fences we see when we travel to Ireland.

Oh, I so love this fence!! Imagine having enough to build it with. I wonder how long it has been there.

Those look like some heavy wheels. They look like they're made of iron. Great shots.

Thanks for stopping to view my fence this week.

I also like the name of the place "Dix'. ;-)

Great fence. Only i think there is no ranch great enough to have so many spare wheels from their own vehicles.
