Cedar Island, North Carolina
Last week I showed a GOOD HORSE FENCE and with this week's submission to GOOD FENCES it looks like the horse fence continues on. But no, this is fencing elsewhere on the island.
Perhaps it is a fashion in fences for Cedar Island.
Try to count how many styles of fence is shown here. Hard to do.
Down towards the sandy beach, the trend continues.
I'm not sure if the trash can lid is serving a purpose or simply got blown in there from the never ending winds that seem to live there at Cedar Island. At any rate, I didn't think to look.

Great contributions for Good Fences. Have a great day.
I like the shadows in the second photo, John. Super!
Great fence captures! I like the second B&W shot. Have a happy day!
Great fences. That first shot is beautiful, even though that poor fence is overtaken by vines - or maybe because it's overtaken by vines. So pretty.
both are so pretty, i lean towards the sandy one though because i love all things beach
nice, gnarly fence scenes! thanks, john!
I love these kind of fences just as much as a nice, clean one.
Your shots are perfect for Good Fences.
Good fences I would say.
Top one wins the contest!
That would be the mish mash fence. LOL
The sand adds a nice quality to the 2nd fence.
BTW, is it Jasmine that's grown on the fence in the first photo?
Peace ;)
I really like the B&W too!
I love the B&W shot...both both are interesting to say the least.
Both shots are beautiful but I really like the b&w one.
The second shot is fantastic. Love the shot in B&W. I counted 4 different types of fence material in first shot.
I like the ones covered with greenery!
Beautiful black and white shot. Love the shadows.
ohhh i love both images!
A masterpiece of haphazard construction techniques! But it serves its purpose.
I love fences like you have here. Very real.
