Old New Good Fence

Shelbyville, Kentucky

There probably is a good story in this fence.
And then, maybe not.

Its a fence that says no trespassing here. Thats clear.

No holes to peek through. It takes a LOT of wood to make a fence like that.

I'm betting there is too!

pretty great contrast!

Looks like someone either had to replace part of the fence...or part belongs to a neighbor.

Hi! Good to see your photos again! This is very Americana!

It is obvious some of the fence was replaced, maybe from an accident? Great contrast and fence shot!

Hi! Couldn't resist coming over for a visit to see your post, even if I am squinting with one eye!:) I love cats too, but it was my dog Mel who chewed up my spare pair of specs! Wish I did have a drawer full! Anyway, this is an interesting fence.Like you, don't know quite what to make of it! Perhaps there is a division between the two, and there's a tiny house behind the new bit of fence! BTW, I also don't believe in waiting for things to happen, so I would like to follow your blog to see what adventures you get up too! Have a happy day!:)

The old part looks much more interesting. Maybe it was damaged in a storm.

It says they don't want anyone seeing in their backyard...or else that they have some weird neighbors they don't want seeing in or don't want to look out at. Don't ask me how I know.

That's a privacy fence, for sure. As to why the different colors, lots of theories have already been proposed.
