My little buddy has been with me for 15 years today. I don't know his actual birth date but he was several months old when I adopted him. According to cat age calculators he is 76 in human years.
There is no celebration or special foods planned to commemorate the day. He just wants to do his normal everyday thing. I understand. I am that way too.

How wonderful. Hope you have many more years with your buddy and that you both may have a lot more great expeditions into the backyards of your country.
You grow old together, that is so nice. But the cat age is limited and that time is a bit approaching... The oldest cat I had was 18 years. So enjoy his birthday and congratulations from young lady Sofietje too. And many adventures together with the Van.
They can sure be the best of companions...Happy Anniversary!
Oh what the heck, give him a can of tuna at least!
oh, that sweet boy. bless him.
Happy anniversary to both of you. Your friend looks to be seriously underwhelmed by it all.
Taking it all in his stride!
What a beautiful photo of Sinbad! You two have had a lot of years together, so happy for that. And may you have many more. Only Daisey remains with me now, and she's 17. I count my blessings every additional day I have her. I know you do the same with Sinbad. Hug him tight.
What a lovely post John!
Happy Birthday to Sinbad, hope he have many lazy years ahead. ;-)
Happy anniversary, Sinbad. We have a cat named BOBB (Big Ole Black Boy). He's the old man who lives under the porch. He just showed up one day. If he's happy with the other cats and dogs, he can stay. Turns out he belonged to a neighbor several miles down the road. They moved even further away taking him with them, but neighborhood dogs ran him off and he made his way here. They say he was neutered in 1998, so he's at least 16. He truly is the old man under the porch.
Awwww! such sweetness!
