Autumn Nears

A scene from a few days ago when we had a little bit of rain and I took a hike up into my secret canyon where I came across yesterday's post of the spotted banana slug.
I never used to like the sign of fall setting in for it signaled the end of summer and I've always dreaded the all too soon winter.  But as I get up in years, these things don't bother me anymore.  I am actually looking forward to the change of seasons.  Change is good.

I have another little critter that the rain brought out to share with you for tomorrow.

For me fall has always been my favourite season. It is so colourful and there are no annoying bugs.

Beautiful lush green here and a great trail in the leaves. Gives a lot of depth in the photo.

I always like the changing four seasons we have too. All those seasons have their own charm. Fall is so beautiful with the coloured leaves like a tapestry.

I love the changing seasons, too. Summer is my least favorite though. The older I get, the more I dislike heat, humidity, storms...did I say heat? :) Have a great day!

John,
That's half the leaves in my yard in about a month.
Enjoy the change!

Peace :)
